20,000 Days on Earth (2014)
Directors:
Iain Forsyth, Jane Pollard
Writers:
Nick Cave, Iain Forsyth
This isn’t a document on his career more like an insight in his enigmatic character. I always find it interesting to see the construction of a piece of ‘art’ and i don’t know of many documentaries that have this as a narrative. When he started recording his new album, Push the Sky Away, he’d been alive 20,000 days and the film also shows aspects of his day…. It also showed a lot of Brighton. One for Nick Cave fans really, like the majority of documentaries about musicians or rock stars, if your not interested in the artist then the whole experience may be lost on you.

Husband's review. I liked it a lot, but I adore Nick Cave.
