Well, we're waiting for the vet's office to open so we can take our kitteh/furbaby, Henry, in with another asthma exacerbation. He spend most of the night curled up in my wife's arms, wheezing and hacking. She got nearly no sleep. Since I'm a heavy sleeper, I wasn't awakened until 4 am, when I finally heard him coughing and wheezing.

Hopefully, a shot of steroids will take care of the situation and get him through the crisis. Then begins the training I'm going to have to do to get him used to letting me give him some medicine via an inhaler. Yes, they have those for cats, too, though it takes a bit of practice to get them used to it.
