Today I made the best smoothie ever....so far.

A kinda sorta recipe but, I don't really measure.

I used vanilla almond milk for the base: just enough to cover the blender blades
Added about a cup of frozen tropical fruit from TJs
And a frozen banana
Plus a bloop of peanut butter (a Tbs, maybe a tad more)
A sprinkle of cinnamon
and a tsp of chia seeds...

I was sad not to have any fresh greens, but they don't keep well...

I have to say, the peanut butter was a last minute thought; I typically use yogurt for protein but was out and wanted something in its place. This worked perfectly! And the pb taste was not overwhelming. I imagine with fresh, natural pb it would be even better. All those healthy oils and good fats.

Oh and citrus tea...because I like a hot brew in the morning
