Default Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers - A Night In Tunisia

Belgium, 1958

Drums: Art Blakey
Trumpet: Lee Morgan
Sax: Benny Golson
Piano: Bobby Timmons
Bass: Jymie Merritt

The late and great jazz critic, Leonard Feather, called Art Blakey a "show off," but he wasn't. Time has shown that Blakey was (is) one the best drummers ever recorded. Saying Blakely was a show off is like saying Charlie Parker was a show off.
