***********Thoughtful Consideration for Others Rule*******************
Just a reminder to all:

"For 2015, the rule is if one of us is more than a week late or drops out of a project for whatever reason, that person is welcome to continue posting but is not allowed to sign up for a project again until 2016. No exceptions. This rule must be posted at the bottom of all new projects that are being wrangled so that members can thoughtfully consider whether we wish to commit to a new project."

Do we make as many projects as there are participants, or do we only make one project? What makes a good project?) Anyway, is there a basic informational post for noobs to this thread who want to come out and play? If not, can someone please help me out?

Thanks,

I totally get this and we appreciate you wanting to clarify before committing yourself!

It does not have to be flat. Tommi gave us a few options for this Spring themed project......poems, potholders, eggs (no real ones, please....food rotting in the mail and at Tommi's abode is not appetizing), etc. The idea is to not have many different sized projects for ease of mailing (an inchie with a 5x7 framed piece could spell danger for the inchie for example).

Think of the wrangler as a hub. Our projects go in as one box, get divided down (you have the option of assigning who gets what if the wrangler allows) and reshipped out a box containing one project from each of the participants who got their work in before the deadline.

We've been loosey goosey with deadlines in the past but it's led to a lot of frustration for those who complete their projects on time, so no more! If you participate, make absolute sure to get your work to Tommi by the deadline.

The wrangler is usually someone who has done a few projects, knows the ins and outs of the process and we trust with our personal info. Letting newbies wrangle, in most cases, has not worked out well in my experience.

Right now, there are 9 participants. If that does not change and you do decide to do the project, you can make either 9 or 10 if you want one back. Some of us will do that so our 'collection' from that particular wrangle is complete.

The things I think that will help you decide is to look at the project post of Tommi's and see his suggestions, think of what you'd like to do and see if you have the materials, the time and the patience to do it and get it mailed before the deadline. If the answer is yes, great! If the answer is no or probably not or not sure, I'd wait this one out.
