My love's birthday is tomorrow, and today we met her large family out for lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Her mom made a cake and brought it along. After lunch we all sang happy birthday, she opened her gifts, and we had cake. Next thing we knew, the restaurant staff came around the corner singing Happy Birthday in Spanish with a sombrero which they placed on her
mother's head. You would think they would have caught on after we all burst into laughter and pointed towards the birthday girl, but they didn't. It was quite funny.
We also got the news that we should be expecting a new niece or nephew in October. Lots of smiles and laughter so far today.
