Today I am dry cleaning all the area rugs which entails. . .
Beat all the deep dirt and dog fur out of them by hanging on a clothes line and hitting them with what looks like the love child of a Louisiana Slugger and a kitchen whisk. Generally by the time I am done I feel like my arms weigh 8,000 pounds are going to leave me forever.
Then lug them back into the house and brush in the dry cleaning powder with a broom.
After it works it's dry cleaning mojo I will vacuum out the magic powder and voila rugs are clean and I am well worked out for my core and upper body.
I beat the rugs about once a month and dry clean twice a year, SO much more fun than the gym.
