What is your idea of perfect happiness? Having a good family, a good woman, good friends, a good steady and secure job, a nice home, little to no bills, a nice financial pad in the bank. (I'm very lucky to have all of these.)

Which living person do you most admire? My Mother and Pop.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? My severe introversion.

What trait do you most deplore in others? Lack of courage. Complacency. Willingness to "settle" rather than reach for their dreams.

On what occasion do you lie? To avoid hurting someone's feelings unnecessarily.

What do you most dislike about your appearance? My weight.

What is your favorite journey? The one in which I found myself.

What is your greatest regret? Not having gone to college BEFORE joining the military.

What or who is the greatest love of your life? Myself first, then my family and my sweetie.

Which talent would you most like to have? I'd like to having my singing voice back.

What is your current state of mind? Relaxed and contented.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I'd lose some weight so my knees wouldn't ache as much.

If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be? That my folks hadn't divorced until my sister and I had been a bit older.

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be? Myself, at this point in my life.

What do your consider your greatest achievement? Becoming a U.S. Marine, which laid the groundwork for giving me the strength and perseverance to accomplish anything I want and put my mind and heart to.

What is your most treasured possession? My house and my two frogs, Myron and Ivan.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Not knowing who you are and lacking direction and/or goals in life, because when you're in that position, you truly are going nowhere.

What is the quality you most like in a man? Self respect. Knowing his value.

What do you most value in your friends? Self respect, honesty, loyalty, sense of humor, compassion, nonjudgemental.

Who are your heroes in real life? My Mother and Pop, our nation's Veterans, all nurses.
