As someone who has lived the last 25 or so years in places that delivery doesn't exist, I have always been fairly isolated. Part of that is by choice, of course, as I like living where I can garden and have peace and quiet at home. The downside of that is that it also places me in areas that are remote with very little community.

My chat friends ARE my community. Some I know better than others, some more personally than others, but ALL of you have my attention and caring when going through tough times or celebrating life's little triumphs!

Some of us go back YEARS... and it has been amazing to see us all grow together. We have seen each other's kids start school... we have seen some graduate... We have been there while some friends have transitioned... We have seen beautiful relationships come together as well as been there for those that didn't work out so well. We have had times we bicker or "ignore" one another and we have been there when folks reconnect. It's all about being that perfectly imperfect family that we are.

I know that personally, I have relied upon my chat friends to just be there with a laugh, a hug, a great tune, a funny story or profound sharing of experience when I have needed it. I try to always give that back. This last year has been a really hard one and I seriously do not know how I would have handled it without all of you.

You all mean more to me than I can express. You are my family and I thank you and love you gads!

Aloha and much love!
