A shivering struggling new client reached through my widow today and touched my hand, looked me in the eye for a second, and said "thank you for being so nice. I wasnt sure I could do this today. But now I think I can and its going to be ok"

Damn. I wasnt even going out of my way, just doing what I normally do. It made me feel like I was, at least for today, doing exactly what Im supposed to be doing.

Its the kind of thing that makes a small paycheck ok. Cause the work FITS. I had joy today cause I felt I was doing a good job, just by being me, and being there. How frellin cool is that?
