I don't recall how I had heard of this book ( My Abandonment) originally perhaps someone posted it this thread even, but it's a quick read at only 240 pages and very interesting..
The movie is directed by Debra Granik and stars Ben Foster AND Thomasin Harcourt Mckenzie.
