Successfully installing the Brita System on my kitchen faucet this morning. The Pur System leaked, sprayed, etc.; there was no fixing it and I had had enough.

Of course it wasn't going without a fight...the wretched beast that had absolutely no trouble loosening on its own on a near daily basis was now holding on so tight that I had to beat it with a hammer (a small, ladylike hammer, with a hand painted floral handle). OK, I really just tapped that thingy-ring thing that screws onto the faucet because it steadfastly refused to budge...mocking me.
