Stand up for myself, face conflict without so much fear

happiness and love - I know it should be happiness, then love, but I've had that backwards for so long, it's a hard habit to break, so we'll call them tied.

self-discovery

7. In one sentence, who are you?
A geeky woman and a nerdy child wandering through life trying to make the most of it, being fascinated and thoroughly confused by it most of the time.

Being a helping hand

9. If you had to move 3000 miles away, what one thing would you miss most?
Funny, I have been trying to do that for a while.... my friends probably most, also the raw beauty of Green Country, and sometimes, the thunderstorms.

10. In one year from today, how do you think your life will be different?
I could be literally anywhere a year from now, if I get one of these jobs.

11. Who makes you feel good about yourself?
I only keep people around me who help build confidence, so all my friends and family. Of course, they can also tell me when I'm being an ass

12. What are the top three qualities you look for in a friend?
Flexibility - the ability to adapt and change and do things on a whim
Good Counsel - the ability to honestly, kindly and compassionately lead me to the answers I'm seeking, also the ability to have differing opinions without it causing a schizm
Kindness - the ability to look at others with a kind heart, not to judge, and to treat them well.

13.What has fear of failure stopped you from doing?
Being bolder, confronting people

14. What is something you have always wanted since you were a kid?
To go to space

Lately, a lack of motivation and being too focused on what's going on internally rather than externally.

Turn up the music, sing at the top of my lungs, and dance in my living room

When I nearly went blind at age 22

working LOL I have been slacking off a bit lately.

I'm getting better about this, but I would have to say how my past affects my relationship with myself and others.

Look down on people around them

21.What’s a common misconception people have about you?
People who don't know me well tend to think I'm somewhat stoic and unemotional, because I don't tend to show my emotions unless I know you well.

My ability to go all in, throw caution to the wind

23. What is something that you would hate to go without for a day?

passion

thermal waters

I absolutely have to start making time for me to be more active. Mainly, this means I'm going to have to start getting up earlier in the morning, and I really hate mornings

28. What have you done that you are truly proud of?
In the past three years, I helped a man go from living under a bridge to running a successful small business, with a car and a house of his own.
Close 2nd - making it through grad school without losing all my hair.

I can be powerful.

The lessons I have learned from all the "teachers" in my life.

That time will tell

Stupidity and celebrity are not things to be celebrated.

Tell people about my history

guns

relationships - you learn so much about yourself, your needs, your boundaries. You just have to keep building on these lessons and not repeat the same mistakes. The pain is worth the learning experience.

37. If you could go back in time and tell a younger version of yourself one thing, what would you tell?
You're not worthless. You're stronger than you think. And be nice to your joints!

A prayer

Nope, I've led an interesting life full of adventure.
