Unexpectedly getting to see my grandkids.
On the way home from NOT getting to spend the 4th with an old friend I took the wrong exit off the parkway. Turned out it put me on city streets about 8 blocks from my daughters place. On the spur of the moment, I drove by her place and it turned out their plans had been cancelled too. Got to see my grandbabies age 3, 5. and 8. With them crawling all over me, climbing in and out of every door in my van, I was in bliss.
