Totally. Where I am from we eat whatever is *giving*. we don't come home empty handed. We throw a cast net for shrimp (can also be used for bait!) or worst case catch catfish or perch.

Back at the house the crab traps are tied to the dock, and I used to keep 10 traps out in the lake.

I really really miss the bayou.
