I have Shaw Blue Curve, so I just say Vida, and voila!

Just one thing - I'm on season 1, and I have watched a few episodes, and the only characters I have been able to relate to appear to be some of the older women (bit actors) who are seen to be able to demonstrate some affect. Apart from that and the scenes of overt f**king, with really no affection whatsoever that I could see, are there any scenes in the future episodes (seasons) where the main leads (who appear - at least, to me - actually cold-blooded and distant) actually develop some capacity for making love instead of f**king?
So, I watched the latest episode in season 3 of VIDA on TV last night, after having watched the latest episode of Killing Eve (well, at least, Killing Eve was very well done, as usual).

More gratuitous f**king on VIDA - the younger straight sister referred to the older gay sister's ex as a "f**k boi". So, no relationship ability as yet with any of the leads. Ya know, relationship means to be related - to feel someone in one's blood. And this series highlights the fact that whoever wrote the script has no idea what relationship means. As a butch, I have no idea what the girl/boi connection implies, but I think that the sisters will all end up in much-needed therapy, hopefully before they hurt any more people.

I do not believe that all Latino Americans are being accurately portrayed. Not every Latino American (gay/straight) is going to use other people just for sex (older gay sister), or using sex to have the illusion of a relationship (younger straight sister) - which seems to me a rather disparaging take on young lesbian and straight women in - of all things - this day and age.

One more thing, if all the sex scenes were cut out, the series would be dead. Right? So, that fact alone does say something to me about what kind of people enjoy watching soft lesbian/straight porn (considering the reviews on imdb).
