Of all the things I’ve had to say
I never thought it would be this way.
Friends for years
Through all of the tears
Love was a simple game.

Time flies when you’re having fun
Or when two hearts become one.
It is a simple vow to take
But one you should never break.
Not many people take the time
To let their hearts spend that extra dime.
Too bad, because it is well worth the wait
When a friend becomes your perfect mate.
