The word
'aggression' is related etymologically to the words
'progress',
'digress',
'egress',
'transgress',
'degrade',
'congress'. etc.
Now, the word
'progress' literally means to move into the enemy's camp,
fully armed.
And, the word
'aggress' literally means to move towards the enemy's camp,
fully armed.
I think Wilde liked to engage with aggressive men.
I also think it is a waste of time to engage with someone who refuses to look at facts.
