Oh yeah, I actually cook them in chicken broth with fresh jalapeņos and a healthy splosh of juice from a jar of jalapeņos. Added some Alderwood-smoked salt too and dammnnnnnn.
I've made them for years with chicken broth and bacon but JD turned me on to the jalapeņos. I'm HOOKED!
