While on my walk this morning, I heard an owl hooting to other owls (the parents, maybe?) and I also noticed there is a woodpecker pecking on a diseased tree, which is nearby too. Further out on my neighborhood walk, there are Mourning Doves too. I love their birdsong.

Heck, with all the trees off-loading their pollen into the air, it's a small wonder that anybody can breathe (birds included).

But hearing a variety of birds nearby (geese, crows, owls, the woodpecker, mourning doves) makes my heart smile.
