I'm looking forward to the arrival of a package in the mail from sockdreams.com (a really cool store for all sorts of socks and other neat little miscellaneous things), which will contain several pairs of thigh high stockings for my stepmother, for Christmas (I'll be giving them to her sooner, tho). She had a PEG (feeding tube) placed in her stomach for when she begins radiation therapy for her throat cancer.

She can't pull her tights up around her waist because of the discomfort from the tube site. These socks will keep her legs warm under her nightgown/jammies. I'm sure she's going to love them, because I got several pairs for Mother, and she just adores them!! I'm thinking that Betty will love them, too, and they'll keep her toasty warm!!!
