Instant mashed potatoes with butter and two kinds of cheese. Chicken breast strips marinated in an experimental sauce. First sauteed then stir fried until the sauce reduced. The sauce tasted bad so I changed plans and just kept dumping sweet chili sauce on until I could no longer taste what it used to be. Should have just stir fried the chicken then dumped a bunch of sweet chili sauce on and served over rice but I was trying to make something other than the same old, same old same old thing that would pair well with the potatoes. Well at least now I know not to do it again and there was milk to drink and blueberries for dessert, and the potatoes were good, so it wasn't all a wash.
