My dog is in the hospital.

He woke up very anxious, nervous, panting and packing and his legs were shaking. Then his legs started going out from under him. I sat with him for a few hours and went to work because my daughter has today off and she could sit with him. She called me two hours later to come home which is NOT like her. She had found him in the hallway laying on his stomach with all of his legs splayed out.

I got us a 3pm appointment with his vet but I didn't wait. I rushed him in at 11:30 and thankfully they took them. Now I am home waiting. They did a physical and bloodwork and haven't detected for sure what it is so he's going in for an EKG.

I'm so anxious and heartbroken not knowing what is wrong but knowing he is hurting. He's almost 13 years old so I know this could also be end of life for him.
