I cannot answer this myself, as I have no ties to the local community, nor I have been to the city for other than to get to the airport.

But I can tell you, people say Buenos Aires city is the most LGBT-friendly place to visit in the country. There are several bars, hotels, and services that have been featured on CNN en Español, and they seemed pretty interesting.

I really hope someone else can provide a better answer, as it is much better to hear this from actual people than to try and filter out Google results!
