Yes. It's old, it's broken - I fixed it with Gorilla Tape and Reynolds Wrap. Without electricity Monte and I are doomed because it only takes C batteries, we don't have any C batteries and even if we did the plastic plate piece that keeps the batteries in is missing. This is a very, very old radio. I don't know if NOAA was even around yet back when this thing was invented. And when it first rolled off the assembly line it must have been this companies most bare bones basic stripped-down model ever because I don't see a hand crank on it anywhere. Nope, same as with anything else these days, they just don't make them like they used to.

Do you own any Chlor-Floc?
