a little story to go with this video:

The other day, I posted my fav kiting video (One man, Three kites) and the music in that video was performed by IZ - a Hawaiian singer/artist. Anyway, a member here (Blaze) wrote to me and Blaze was telling me that the song (the name of the song is, Kaleohano) was about an old man who used to walk from his house up in the mountains (with his dog), down to the beach everyday. Blaze said to me that this older man loved the land and sought to empower everyone around him to be good caretakers of the land - the islands. I love this song... ever since I first heard it back in 2006 at the kite festival in Lincoln City and watched Carl man his three kites - something unheard of back then and earned him the reputation of being a "Kite God." It was also the year that I vacationed in Kuai with close friends (who take in and care for neglected and abused animals) and a little baby piggy that loved on me and was the sweetest joy of my whole vacation experience!

Thanks Blaze for finding this song for me!!!!
