I really truly enjoy being a grand mother. It is the most satisfying and joyful type of relationship I have ever held. My husband also loves being grandpaaka POPS...he dotes on our little girls and the oldest adores him. (the youngest was just born)
We had them over for an easter egg hunt in our back yard. oh lord...so precious the 3 year old was, scrambling for eggs, finding toys, all dressed up in a long ruffled pink taffeta skirt, and a straw cowboy hat and silver cowboy boots. My kind of gal! Pops stayed outside with her so she could play in her little clubhouse that we got for her, while Mommy and me and the baby chatted inside. It was a lovely day and I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a grandma!
