Shocked, saddened, and angry as well that my fellow soldiers both female and male have experienced devastating illnesses throughout their lives because we lived in a toxic dump/experimental site during our basic training and/or AIT at Fort McClellan, Alabama. I do not use fb, but thankfully there are fb groups where Fort McClellan soldiers are banning together to work at passing legislation so that those ill because of their time in that toxic environment can receive medical benefits. I still will not use fb, but have found another way to support my fellow soldiers. Do check out the link of the website that is one way one of our female soldier is addressing and supporting us.
And, in case your wondering...No, I know I am beyond blessed to continue being healthy...and am more grateful than words can say.
Found out about this today and am sharing with all of you Vets, and lovers of Vets past and present who completed basic training and/or AIT at Fort McClellan, Alabama WAC, US Army no matter the year.

THEIR EXPOSURES HAVE NOT BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE OR THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION. READ & LISTEN TO THEIR STORIES..."
