The Memory Keeper's Daughter (2008) Emily Watson, Dermot Mulroney

A father separates his son from his twin sister at birth to prevent him and the mother from knowing she was born with Down syndrome. Based on the novel by Kim Edwards.

The other night there was a question I believe in a book category and the answer was The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I mentioned to Mary what a good book it was, and also said they had made a TV movie too. Yesterday when she returned from the daily post office run she slapped it down and was all smiles!
We watched it last night and it was a real tear jerker in some places, but still pretty good. I suggest the book for sure then if you're interested the movie.
