i feel rested but stressed as we had an emergency surgery last nite, her retina detached 1/4 of the way and a 4:30 eye appointment turned into a 9pm surgery


the surgery was 1 hour and i drove around the hospital trying to figure out where the patient pick up was after hours, i finally decided to park at the patient pick up area and go get food as neither of us had eaten since lunch

after picking up food i made it back to the waiting room just in time to see the dr and he said everything went well

now she has to sit in a special torture chair for at least one week maybe two

oh and she cannot drive for 8 weeks
