Ascot, there was no cake, but there was a big ass brownie with this chocolate glaze. I am away at the moment and my friend (yes, friend only...no chatter people!), thought she bought a cake to make, but it was actually a brownie. Then she made this glaze stuff she never made before and put it on top instead of icing. Neither of us are thrilled with the glaze, but when you scrape it off, the brownie is pretty good!

I very much appreciate her effort to make sure I had something on my birthday!
