Great thread idea kittygrrl!

Two Blue Herons landed on my roof today. I found out they can live to be 15 years old and they live in "colonies." Watching them fish in the ravine out my back deck is a thing of beauty. They are nothing short of majestic.

I would also add, I appreciate the varying opinions here on BfP. Many speak with such verbal alacrity, very impressive!
