A work colleague of my mother's came up with the idea of my name. She loved the book, Little Women and the character Amy. So, she told my Mother that she should name me, Amy. My Mother liked it and that's it.
I am so much like, Amy from Little Women. And because of that, for most of my life I have hatted my name.
