I had a slow kind of heavy feeling morning. Then, visited my father, and then went to explore an island with my hiking buddy. It was just what we both needed. Fresh cold brisk air, exercise, and some really beautiful nature. It turned the day around for the better.

Great day with Best Butch. We had Church earlier and then lunch. Always a great day with her!

Maybe she will come over later and I'll make dinner?? We are so lazy right now.. lol 😆

I’m making pancakes for breakfast, blueberry's and blackberry’s on the side, served with cheesy scrambled eggs and real maple syrup. Tea and water to drink. I might slice up an orange, later.

Happy Sunday.

We are at the end of what was supposed to be a pretty epic snow storm. There was snow and freezing rain but it wasn't too bad.

I'm not actually moved into my new home yet but I'm spending the weekend there and it's just... so good. There's so much to love.

I'm sick with a cold but it's not as bad as all of my co-workers had so I'm grateful for that. I'm drinking tea and making soup and snuggling with my cats. Oh, and finishing some Zentangles to mail out in a few days.

Happy Sunday!

Yay, day off! Actually two days off in a row. I got to sleep in without an alarm. I've enjoyed my coffee, roasted some chickpeas. I tried this new pasta sauce recipe with grape tomatoes and boursin cheese. I saw it come across a FB feed. Tastes really good and was super easy. I'm letting it refrigerate all day. I found a great deal at Publix, 3 pints of tomatoes for $4.00.

Talking about Publix, I wanted tuna. I saw the post with tuna and elbow macaroni. So, I found a deal, on the bottom shelf. 5 for $5. But when I rang it up, the sale didn't show. It was ringing at 1.49. I asked, they checked the signage and it was wrong, so I got the tuna for free!!

I have a DIY project I want to finish today. And then I plan on spending the rest of the afternoon outside in my gardens.

I didn't make it yet but it's on my mind!

My Sunday was a nice rainy day. I puttered around the house, rearranged some furniture, put up some art, and fixed a shower curtain rod that was hung too low. Then I went to my parents house for a bit. I had made them a big dinner the night before so we didn't have to cook and enjoyed leftovers followed by playing cards.

Then it was time for reading and relaxing.
