I am getting ready to take Red to the airport. She will not be back until July 25th. A good friend of mine is picking her up at the Airport in Maryland so that is helping me not be so freaking weird. A month is a long time to be away but it is a great honor for her. Anyways not to de-rail any more.

Easy & laid back day for me. My honey is out of town on business....
 . So had coffee, yogurt, and OJ! A lazy breakfast, for sure....lolAlready humid and at 83 and rising! Great day to stay inside in AC I think and read the paper!!!

Greeting the new day with some freshly pressed coffee and listening with a smile as the birds sing to me. This must be what they call Paradise.
I may go pick some wildflowers for the apartment later. Or perhaps I will just enjoy them from afar; haven't decided yet. .

We fell asleep last night, cuddled up on the futon on the patio while stargazing, so Sunday over-easy began at 5am with the sunriise and birds singing! What a glorious way to start the day!
I've got the potato salad and crockpot of meatballs ready for our church potluck, and the laundry for our trip to LA for medical appointments going already, and it's only 8am! It's going to top 100* today so i wanted to get done early. Hmmmmm, when is the over-easy part going to start? Lol |

Over easy..
A baby fawn in the backyard, less than ten feet from my view. Just a frolicking away. I've never seen anything like that. Playing like a puppy, running back and forth. Amazing! Thinking about what rub to go on that rack of ribs thawing out. Top off the day with using the gift cards that are burning a hole in my purse! Lol! Causing a stir over there, is on my radar for this wonderful day off!

wow can i sit and relax a while today? we have been going since thursday nite...and i need a day to relax...no such luck..biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast...a surprise trip (to the casino i think) then to the house for laundry and other chores...have a great week!

Alas, I've had the last two days off, wonderfully blissful. No alarms, peaceful, sunny, and pop up thunder storms. (Can't get enough of those!) long conversations, and reconnecting conversations...just what I needed. I have to return back to work today, it's going to be a long week ahead. (Job security, right? A relaxing and laid back (read as "over easy") Sunday..winding down a long weekend.
Breakfast with my honey..she made a banana nut loaf with pecans and fresh raspberries mashed up inside of it! It is sinfully delish warm with some butter on it!!! We always spend quality time on Sundays esp.....so I cherish these times!!! Have a wonderful week every one!!

my body needs a break...and i need to re energize...so i went to bed early, made myself sleep until after 8 am...got up ate fresh mango and cherries with coffee...now shower time...have a great week...i have jury duty tomorrow ugh!

I forced myself to get up before 7 to hit the gym, had a great workout, came home and had a great lunch and now I'm about to hop in the shower. I'm going to scrub up really good and then go to the art festival and shopping. Full day ahead!
