Tomorrow's agenda is definitely on my mind..... -meetings for half the day -I'd like to catch up on my laundry -grading papers -reading journals -work this weekend -department picnic (sigh) -social events -relationship(s) -practicum -my orders -and everything else under the sun and this is just what I pulled from my head in the 30seconds it took to write this post YEAH! I definitely make lists in my sleep...

On my mind
I had major surgery on August 26th. It will be a year to recover. I did not receive one get well card and no flowers from anyone. Not my family, friends, or GF at the time. That hurt my feelings. I guess that effort is in the past now.

Gotta find a new job The whole deal with my folks trying to sell the house..im trying to convince them to take whatever they get and move back to Oklahoma. And yes I will go with them as I'm the only one who actually helps since dad had his leg amputated last year. |

Work is on my mind. We have a few projects we have to wrap up by the end of the year. People keep saying "we have till the end of the year." Well, that's less than 12 weeks away with three major holidays coming up. So that means we really have about 10 weeks, if we're lucky.
I was supposed to get files last Friday and here it is Tuesday and I'm still waiting. Will have a discussion with my manager in a few minutes. Hopefully, we can extend the deadline, but that may not happen. Think I'd rather be at the dentist right now instead of twiddling my thumbs. This up coming week. There is a lot that is due, and I am likely to be a little late on some of it, spot on for others. My students have an exam at the end of the week...but next week will start thanksgiving week and a vast majority of them are already begging to have Tuesday off. I'm not sure I want to agree to that.

Tomorrow, I have two doctors appointments and three medical tests. All yearly checkups plus PT for me and PT for mom. I will be running from appointment to appointment.
I expect the usual good results.

My son arrives on Sunday night from Virginia, where he's in the Marines. If I barely recognized him at boot camp graduation, then even less at Christmas last year, what will he be this time?
The fact that I have lots to do, noodled around all morning, and now have to go to work to, you know...work. I'm not feeling any of it. The fact that we're barreling towards the end of the year, and I'm wondering what happened to 2019? Next year seems to loom so large, for my personal life, to this board, and to the "big picture" everywhere. I'm glad years come one day at a time.
