Optimistic.
I have been in that well hole 5 times since Sunday making adjustments so I would have water. I rigged up something this morning, think it will hold. I cannot wait to get home to see if the water is still on.

A little sad...
My stepfather passed away yesterday. Three weeks ago he was working...wasnt feeling well and went to the doctor. Long story short, they told him he had stage four lung cancer. Now he's gone. I guess sometimes you re better off not knowing.

Happy - 'cause I now have a little twintub (meant for posh camping) so I won't have to go to the laundrette so often!. Also happy 'cause I've FINALLY got my degree work properly organised in folders. Nervous because we've a plant ident text tomorrow on trees, and I haven't had much time to learn. I'm tired as I was up at 5am and I'm cold because of having the windows open and fans on to speed up the drying process for the carpets and I'm grumpy because the TV is sort of occupied and I want to watch something else and I'm tired. Still. More so now.

I'm feeling pretty good this morning. Dear Wife and I drove over to the Southern Hills Medical Center for the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival this morning for the dawn launch. There were about 10 or so balloons participating, so it was pretty impressive.
 I'm just not used to getting up at 0400 anymore, since I retired. I almost backed out of it, but I had promised my wonderful wife I'd go, so go I did. I enjoyed it. I am planning on taking a good nap this afternoon. I just love, love LOVE the Fall!!!   ~Theo~

Feeling good. I worked out a lot this weekend and have some sore muscles from that but it's the good kind of sore.
It's a packed week ahead which has me feeling a little stressed but I'm trying to look at one day at a time with a can-do attitude  I'm a little hungry but it feels too late to eat. hrm. |

I have rested most of Saturday and Sunday, but I'm glad I have one more day to rest because last week was very busy for me and I'm still a bit worn out. But other than that, I'm feeling okay, and I plan to rest more tomorrow.
