Went to bed early with a goal of 8 hours, before 10 p.m. Went to sleep around 10, woke up bright and early at 3 a.m. Fed the cats, ran the dishwasher, decided to order boyfriends birthday gifts thinking it wouldn't take TOO long.... Went back to sleep 2.5 hours later, 30 minutes before my alarm went off.

The night after my two hour sleep, I got 9 hours.

Last night, 5 hours.

The latest update from iOS keeps wanting to help me with "Bedtime". Some new app that I did not ask for but as usual, Apple gives them to you if you want them or not.

I know I should go to bed around the same time each night.
I know I should put my iPad down sooner because "blue light" or whatever it is called, is bad for good sleep.

I go to bed when I am tired. Sometimes it works, sometimes, it doesn't.

I pulled my left shoulder out at Costco, the other day, while hefting cases of drinking water into the shopping buggy. With Dear Wife and me, 3 cats and 2 frogs using mostly nothing but bottled water for nearly everything (tap water here in Las Vegas is extremely hard, full of minerals and tastes like s**t), we go through several cases per month.

Apparently, I am old and horribly out of shape because something in my shoulder has been pulled. Ugh.

I got 4 hours last night. Just 4........

.....and I need 7-8 to feel "human".

*YIKES* Theo, I'm really glad your wife was with you! Sorry to hear you pulled something in your shoulder. Crossing my fingers that you didn't tear any connective tissues and that your physician gets you patched up soon!

We've had roasty-toasty weather, the kind with humidity which is widely different than desert conditions..... I couldn't get comfortable last night until the early hours of 0-dark thirty. I finally fell asleep around 0130 hrs, and slept like a baby until somewhere around 0805-ish hrs.

So maybe I slept for about 6.5 hours???

I feel fine, well rested even.

Night before last I slept for nearly 9 hours, though.

As long as my sleep is uninterrupted and deep, I usually feel fairly good.

I got right around 5 hours.

I go to sleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, and I sleep deeply...but for the last few weeks I am getting 5 hours or less sleep per night.

I would hate to take a pill, but I am starting to look like

Went to bed at 0600 which is fairly common for me (PTSD), but had an appointment for which I had to awaken at around 0930. Usually get 3-5 hours/night (morning).

When I was working, usually slept about 4 hours. Worked 12 hour shifts and didn't want to miss anything on work weekends.

Problem with today is that I didn't get any PM naps (usually 1 or 2)

I had 3 restless, toss and turn ones because of the oppressive heat, then woke for an hour and then from nowhere a cool breeze arrived and I drifted peacefully off for another 4 so about 7 I would say.
