I requested this past weekend off. Saturday, I went to my former manager's house warming party in Orlando. It was a fun time! I'm out looking for a job closer to home. My current employer is cutting our hours due to the negative reviews.

So it's another Saturday night....I'm laying in bed and trying to stay awake. It's been an emotional last two days. Thursday, I was suspended from my job due to me standing up for a resident. I won't allow a resident to verbally abused; that will get your ass kicked by me. Friday, a friend of mine got me a job with her. It pays $12 an hour plus bonuses and it's seven miles closer to my house. Tomorrow, I will be going to take a friend's dog up to see her at the rehab facility.

I'm still running around, just staying busy! I'm loving my new job. I have someone who is interested in me and they are ten years older than me. I'm afraid to let my heart get hurt again, so I keep telling this person that I just want to be friends. Not sure how to handle this situation.

Thank you for the advice. I am calling her tomorrow and she's understanding about taking this slow. She is 20 years older than me, is very sweet and lives in New York City. She is also Puerto Rican and loves to cook!

 Anyone else get the shite scared out of em last weekend? That was the first storm that actually convinced me to get back IN the closet! I heard the storm that came through Texas made it way east and roughed up some others too. I've gotta patch the roof and fence. Ugh! |
