The early bird catches the worm T for the simple reason when it is still cool there is many times dew on the grass and the worms love that. As the day heats up the worms turn underground.

The late mouse gets the cheese is self explanatory LOL.

I think it's important to be careful of the scripts of thoughts we think or tell ourselves. In some measure, I think there is a certain truth to this particular Buddhist maxim.

Within the past year I did come across the whole saying however and had to laugh at the conclusion "but the old one knows all the corners"!
