I'm so sad to know this. We might've had an exchange or two, years ago. I enjoyed reading her posts. She was intelligent, opinionated and unafraid to speak her mind and I loved that! I will think of her fondly. Rest in peace, amazing woman. May angels always accompany you on your journey on the other side. (I truly believe you'll be leading them.)

I am so saddened to learn that Martina lost her battle with cancer (while l was in the hospital with my own battle).
Life was not easy for her, but she always kept a stiff upper-lip and was never one to complain much. I hope and pray that wherever she is, she is without pain and enjoying new beginnings. I wonder what happened to Baby, her cat that she adored and cherished. I hope to goodness someone is taking care of Baby and helping her grieve, as well as enjoy whatever time she has left on earth. I will miss Martina and all the talks we used to have away from here, and all the cat info we shared. Rest in peace my friend.

Baby Update
Baby is happily living with a friend and will be spoiled as she will continue to be the only cat to rule the throne at her new house. She has many cat toys, a cat tree and a lovely human to provide her with love and treats.
