Upset exhausted frustrated at my blood sugar spiking to 250 fasting # this morning now 305 over 2 hours after eating a small breakfast sandwich with sugar free tea.
I also feel impatient waiting on a plumber to show up today to fix the kitchen pipes...(and also frustrating, I can't leave house because I can't drive while on muscle relaxer meds.)
Uggg...can today get over with quickly please.

I've been feeling a tad under the weather and tummy issues. I think it's the meds I was taking after my surgery, so I've stopped taking the pain meds. I think I'll just wing it on my own, been doing that for years, I'll be ok and this yuucky taste in my mouth might go away, tastes like medicine and brushing my teeth several times a day doesn't seem to make the yucky taste go away. Time to cleanse the body with water and get it out !

I'm not sure, Play. It is a colloquialism, but I'm not certain where it originated. It could be a Southern thing.

Sad about two of my furbabies being sick. (For different reasons)...one old boy is my most recent rescue. He seems to have an abscess or tumor that's very sore. ..My other baby has been with me since he was 2 months old, I can't hardly believe that was 9 years ago. I think I've cured his tummy problems (very sick for over 2 weeks)... but he's still in some kind of extreme stress that's causing him to literally chew or pull his fur out by the roots. I can't leave him without his cone or turn my back for 5 seconds. Both of my luv bugs are my world, especially with my adult son living in another state.

I'm sad I can't seem to stop their pain.

...but I'm trying to figure out how I can financially manage to leave this life behind and attend school, whilst simultaneously formally committing to a contemplative life for an extended period of time.

Realistically, I know I'm at least two years away from actually having the opportunity to make that decision.

Hey, maybe if I practice "contemplating" really hard, I'll have it all figured out by then, ha!
