91°F with 56% humidity and only 20% precipitation. (yay!) Seems the front that was stalled over us for 2 weeks has left. The sun is out again and the water is receding.

To hot to do anything but stay inside, today it was 101*. The weather report says the temps should go down a bit and be less hot...like in the high 90's...go figure.

while at work tonight, I heard some beautiful thunder and saw some glorious lighting. It looked frightful with the dark heavy clouds. It hardly rained but the winds were a blowing. I received pictures from home of golf size hail. Dang it, I've yet to be anywhere where the hail is!
The big yellow orange glow of the sunset danced beautifully thru the clouds. Best sunset tonight

Today it is supposed to be 95* as well as have a 20% chanch of rain. Later during the week we may have as much as 60% rain, Now, I'm not holding by breath about rain but the thought is nice.
