Has anyone heard anything from Soft? I've reached out with no response.

I was holding the projects in case something was on its way but it looks like there's nothing else coming in. You should have the projects by the end of next week.

If there's a project someone would like to introduce, now might be a good time.

There's always room for an ATC round!

I'd be up for wrangling but since I just finished one....we never really decided definitively on that point but usually we take turns, sooo.....

hey homoe...if you go to postsecrets.com you can see some examples.....new ones are posted every Sunday I believe.

Wrangler would determine the "theme" of the secrets...and how many secrets....one can be anonymous and/or you can sign the secret...usually are written on a postcard....again wrangler will determine parameters of these..... Hope this helps...

ATC's are always fun! And, I'd love to hear more about the scavenger project. Sounds intriguing.

The scavenger hunt would go something along these lines...participants would be given a list of things to use in their projects but they have to find them on their own end. An example would be: use washi tape, the color blue, yarn or thread, a stamped image and marker. That way, each participant gathers their own versions of those supplies, in addition to whatever else they want to use, and as long as those particular items are in every piece, you are good to go. There may or may not be a 'theme' to use as a guideline.

If this seems like something the majority would like to do, that's great. I think it would be appropriate to ask Besame if she'd like to wrangle as the concept was initially hers. If she doesn't want to right now or is still visiting with her family, then I'd be happy to wrangle the project. I've got time and, thanks to some deep cleaning, a LOT more space to spread the projects out and package them up.

More time could certainly be given, as I think that was something Lyte mentioned. Plus there's nothing going out to the participants so once the scavenger list is posted and everyone is signed up, then folks can start right away on their master pieces.

Another option is having suggestions from participants for what they'd like to see on the scavenger list. It couldn't get out of control with 20 things and I think the items should remain as generic as possible to give the most leeway for everyone when they put things together. Maybe a max of 10 things?

hello....

The scavenger hunt that I had in mind, to use non-crafty things that could be easily found....newsprint, gum wrapper..etc.

That was my idea then. I'm not visiting family, I have been tied up in inventory prep and that's over!!! Yay!
