To my mind, it isn't Ok to use a book, a creation of fallible human beings, claim that it is the word of God, and then use that as an attempt to justify bigotry. There is so much wrong with that chain of thinking that it boggles my mind that anybody could be eitehr stupid, uncritical or illogical enough to castigate others with an argument based on such ridiculously shaky ground.
