Did you ever wonder how all those people found festival concerts to go to, way before anybody even imagined access to internet or social media?

I've always been super curious about how things like that came to pass.

I'm guessing AM radio stations played a major role in getting the word out and stores where records were sold.

Seems like ages ago.... but I found this vintage video recording of a festival down in Big Sur, California. Check out the massive lines of cars lining the road and people walking to the destination where they could hear Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jonie Mitchell and Joan Baez and singers from back in the day. It's a pretty sweet video recording of the concert held down at Big Sur, way back in 1969.

NBC news. Messed up computer speakers. Computer says drivers need updating. Son says ignore that you just need new speakers. I have no radio, no record player. I'm sure I could get my hands on an 8-track tape at the local Goodwill but no player. Can't listen to radio in car, no car. Can't listen on a Walkman, no Walkman. No CB, NOAA radio, pager, no anything but TV set but no cable TV so no music television.

Don't know how to work my new piece of junk garbage cell phone and no one I know awake to play DJ and hold their phone up to some speakers for me. Well I'm sure if I called my mother she'd treat me to some pop music version of Christian hymns on my dad's tape recorder. Like I said no access to music. I don't even have any musical instruments and if I did too early so out of consideration for my neighbors I wouldn't.

J isn't coming over later so no Pandora - no nothing. I don't know if I'll be able to fix this before the before the Rapture hits. Well wait, since God hates rock-n-roll with the Antichrist reigning supreme I'm sure he'll let Satan see to it they'll still be acid rock for us to listen to. Only at midnight. When all us reprobates have to be up early for work the next day.

But only if we pay for it, at today's prices, by feeding nickles and pennies into the demonically powered and controlled jukebox airways. Only instead of cool oldie classics he'll probably only let his slave minions play stuff like someone left the cake out in the rain. I mean please, just say abortion already. You'd think with the Pope still around...
