4.5 pound beef shoulder roast - very lean!!
will cook it sometime in the next 3 days, make mashed potatoes too ... I think Tim will enjoy it ... plan to take it over to his house during this 3-day weekend Tim is in ending stages of his battle with cancer ... he is not doing well but what a spirit he has! He's truly awesome! |

today I bought...
2 scrub tops a Barefott Contessa cookbook an adorable almost flat basket a butterfly necklace, some wicked cool earrings and an Irish themed charm bracelet and an outlet thing that makes one outlet into 3... all for 17 bucks...but...I just realized the scrubs shouldve been half price....so subtract 3 dollars once they fix it... <<<<frugalista

today I bought... 3 books ( big surprise) one is on American Indian myths and legends 1776 By David McCullough and The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B. DuBois a hat for hiking (Jamessons!) a fold down basket for shopping...Im thinking ahead to farmers markets a chicken wire type basket that can probably hold wine bottles....or old milk bottles...I just loved it... and some summer clothes for my youngest...

New dog food for my babes and a new dog harness for one of my babes, Romee. Her old one kept getting stuck around her neck and I had to cut it off today. After finding out about another member's dog being killed from choking on their collar, I wasn't going to mess around!
