Today's stone is Citrine.

Today's stone is Golden Healer Quartz.

We went to an Art Market today (monthly sale upstairs in the art supply store) and met someone who sells crystals. She says she has some Golden Healers and a couple stones Gryph is interested in, so we're going to make an appointment to see what all she has. She does the darnedest thing with wooden boxes; she's made them so that the stones one puts inside get cleansed and recharged. Gryph bought one, plus some small stones including a lodestone. It feels like metal, extremely cold. I've never seen one before.

Thank you StrongButch. For as long as I can remember I've been drawn to stones. My Mom was the same way. They are like old friends and bring me much peace.

I am very familiar with Medicine Wheels. Since I live in an apartment mine is in my dining room where a great number of my stones and feathers are. It's my sacred space.

Lodestone is fabulous and I'm thrilled that one found Gryph. Last year a small one chose me. They an iron ore so, like meteorites and tektites, they do feel cold. That box sounds super cool. Does that person have a website?

Only if you're in Kansas, hon. I didn't get the feeling that she travels much. I took a picture of the box Gryph got and put it in my gallery so you could see it. I don't think the seller actually built the boxes herself; I think she did charge them though, so that they cleanse and recharge the crystals. I recently got a stone I'd never heard about. It's a form of Amethyst and I can't remember. It's not Ametrine ( Amethyst and Citrine) but a green stone. My memory! sigh It is gorgeous.
