Busyness will lead to easy later. The Xmas tree is up and decorated. The inside of the house is decorated. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Now, its off to the deck to pack away the furniture and clean up - I'm ignoring it feels like and looks like snow is coming this afternoon. Will be finished by 1pm. Then it is back into flannel jammies, sliding back under the covers, and overdosing on football for the rest of the day.

 such Sunday revelry today!  Thanks Cricket for sharing breakfast treats!!  GQQD Morning and Happy Sunday to all..... I've had the little Christmas tree up all year long....my BFF and her husband gave it to me last year, right after I came home from the nursing home. So it's either been on my dining room table or sitting on top of my kitchen refrigerator. ....it's on the dining room table with a unique Nutcracker I found at an yard sale, earlier last summer. I love Christmas, and keep my Christmas tree up all year long as an tinder of friends, family and loved ones. I can't see well, the new glasses aren't helping much, so until I get back to the eye doctor this week, I will just read from larger print books here at home....and entertain myself with ongoing art projects and correspondence I'm working on. I dont have any TV here at home, so there's that! LOL Last night my BFF called me and invited me to share in their big family get together for Thanksgiving. They rent an community hall for their family dinners for special occasion, so it will be nice to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with her family. I'm treating both of us to go see the Charles Dickens movie over the Thanksgiving weekend, so I'm looking forward to girl time that weekend! I hppe every one has a lovely Sunday!

Red and I are enjoying the crisp fall weather and making our Christmas lists. We discovered during the conversation that we like many others have trapped in the overwhelming commercialisim for over 50 + years. Stressing over what everyone wants instead of giving what we want to give. Our lists are much smaller this year and we are at ease with our decisions. Peace Okiebug

We had breakfast and are being pretty lazy today. Just one official chore between Us and then We'll set for the day. We've got a lot of TV to watch. I'm thankful for a day off without much to do.
Working off of Okie's post.... I'm thankful for someone who gets me....really gets me in all my flawed glory....for a crazy lil fuzz bucket....for a wild extended family and for shelter over my head, food in my belly and clothes on my back. |

We woke to a chilly morning, yes a fall day, finally!
Coffee was enjoyed, as we listened and reminisced over the 70's music channel. I was finishing up decorating the tree and house. I made him German Pancakes. And then the afternoon came, and we walked to the movies and to share popcorn! There may or may not have been popcorn thrown in my hair, to make it look like someone else was tossing it...lol....yes, I was with the jokester..
