What Are Your Favorite Cartoons
What are some of your favorite cartoons? From vintage to animee, there's plenty to choose from. I prefer the old ones and some of my favs are:
Jetsons Flintstones Johnny Quest and my all time fav, Rocky and Bullwinkle

Ditto on the old ones
Bugs Bunny. For me, there really is no other. He was brilliant, full of relevant (at the time) social commentary and a genius. I can still watch it and laugh.
Also, Road Runner.

I second Bugs Bunny as an all time favorite...actually all the old Warner Bros cartoons. They were genius!

I cartoons.
Saturday mornings (when they actually HAD cartoons on) was my favorite part of the week. I always had leftover Friday night pizza and Mountain Dew while watching them. Good times. I've kept my love of cartoons firmly in place through the years too. Smurfs Snorks The Wild Thornberrys Bugs and the gang the Animaniacs Pinky and the Brain Tiny Toon Adventures Pound Puppies Simpsons Family Guy Jetsons Inspector Gadget Captain Caveman Hey Arnold King of the Hill Chip 'n Dale Darkwing Duck Gargoyles Richie Rich Alvin and the Chipmunks Dungeons and Dragons Jem The Flintstones Garfield Scooby Doo and the couple of spin offs from that She-Ra and He-Man TMNT Goof Troop Pacman Kissyfur Muppet Babies Pole Position Rainbow Brite Spongebob Squarepants Disney pretty much anything (I've already mentioned a couple anyway) Avatar My Little Pony Futurama Drawn Together Xmen Shirt Tales Charlie Brown Transformers Spiderman the Magic School Bus Cartoon Network had a block of time that had a mix of Hanna-Barbera shows and some really great characters....Magilla Gorilla comes to mind. I did have to look some of these up for the correct show titles and whatnot, but it's kind of scary how many I remembered without looking anything up. I spent a LOT of time in front of the TV as a child and adolescent. |

Gemme i'm impressed with your list. Always the over achiever you are. Very nice and i agree with most of those.
Guy....speed racer. Wasn't that the one with the real mouth? I mean like someone's mouth was there and not the cartoons? Maybe i had too much sugar in my cereal on Sat morning but that one is the one that sorta freaked me out.

During high school there was a lot of spongebob watching in my house because my little sister LOVED it.
I developed a soft spot in my heart for that damned sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea. |

Princessbelle Speed racer was a cartoon about a guy who speeds around in a race car and saved lives. He's a whole guy not just a mouth |

I'm like Gemme. I lived for Saturday morning cartoons. I still am more likely to have a cartoon playing on the TV than anything else.
As a child/young adult my favorites were: Scooby Charlie Brown Winnie the Pooh Thundercats Flinstones Gargoyles Justice League Thundar the Barbarian As my son grew up we watched, and I liked: Hey! Arnold Wild Thorberries Courage the Cowardly Dog Ed, Edd, and Eddy Dragonball Z Angry Beavers Pinky and the Brain My current favorites that I will watch over and over are: King of the Hill Phineas and Ferb (I even have checks with them on it.) How did I miss this one?
